Titus was a young man who was raised up by God to be a vessel fit for the Masters use, and our Master is looking for such fit vessels today who possess the character of Christ. Titus had been commissioned to set the house of God in order in Crete. And we, too, have been commissioned to engage in the same work in one way or another in different capacities. In reviewing the life of Titus, Stephen Kaung looks into the questions of how God prepares a vessel, what God does in such a vessel and what God gains from such a vessel. He also considers four key areas of instruction covered by the letter to Titus. These must be applied practically to Gods house in our day if we are to fulfill our own commission before the Lord of setting in order todays expression of the house of God. Those key areas of instruction have to do with the following topics: (1) good and effective leadership; (2) discipline; (3) sound teaching; and (4) good works.
